This painting depicts the venemous snake that lives at the soakage site of Nyinmi. The snake had travelled to Nyinmi from the lake site of Wilkinkarra (Lake Mackay), north of the Kiwirrkura community. Upon arrival at Nyinmi the snake encountered a woman and her two sons. A fight began and the woman eventually killed the snale, which then entered the earth at this site.
