This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Mallarri, west of the Kiwirrkura Community in Western Australia. In ancestral times a large group of women camped at this site to perform the ceremonies associated with the area before they continued their travels to the west.
During their travels the women gathered bush tomato and quandong.
