This painting depicts designs associated with the claypan and soakage water site of Tanyinki, which is north of the Nyirrpi Community. The lines represent the surrounding tali (sandhills).
A group of ancestral women camped here performing the dances and singing the songs associated with the area. Upon completion of the ceremonies at this site the women continued their travels east they gathered a variety of bush foods including kampurarrpa (desert raisins) and pura (bush tomatoes).
