Donald Moko is a senior lawman from the Mindi Mindi clan of the Yulparitja. He was born circa 1928 at Kalajadu near Wangkatungka, west of Well 33 on the Canning Stock Route in the Great Sandy Desert, Western Australia. He grew up with his parents travelling all around his traditional country. He went through law and trained as a traditional Mapam (medicine man). This took him travelling all around. He came to Bidyadanga in the late 1960’s with his wife Mary Meriba and their children.
