Tatjarr is a big soak water site north of Patjarr. It is an important place, a rain place, where people go to perform ceremony to bring rain. Tatjarr is shown in the centre of the painting and men with a white feather in their hair are around the soak. The men are the old trees that grow in this place.

Matjiwa was born in 1946 at Tjulkun Rockhole, west of Patjarr.
