Tangentyere Artists is a relatively new Art Centre situated in Alice Springs, specialising in paintings. The centre provides art support and marketing services to over 300 artists from the 19 Alice Springs Town Camps. These camps are home to around 1600 Indigenous people from both the local area as well as many short and long-term visitors from remote communities across Central Australia. Our artists' stylistic diversity reflects the wide range of cultural groups we represent, which includes 20 different central Australian languages. Tangentyere Artists is strongly committed to cultural maintenance and improving social justice, through it's arts enterprise.
