| The Ngurratjuta Art Centre, which is based in Alice Springs, was established in 2003 to provide a place for Western Arrarnte artists to paint, learn new techniques and share ideas. The art centre is funded by the Ngurratjuta Pmara Aboriginal Corporation, an association of those communities affected by the oil and gas mining operations at Mereenie and Palm Valley in central Australia,Northern Territory. |
